A lot of people have asked me to make a version of CommentLuv for Typepad and finally it is here!
By using AJAX and javascript for the plugin, you will be able to use CommentLuv on your Typepad blog and start enjoying the benefits of being able to add something unique and valuable to your visitors experience.
You will have to do a few things to prepare your Typepad blog for CommentLuv
- Join CommentLuv.com and get a member ID by claiming your site and verifying it (5 mins)
- Add the plugin code to your sidebar as a 'notes' widget (2 mins)
- Enjoy being a CommentLuv giver! (forever)
Instructions
Step 1
Register your site and verify it
Visit this page and enter your desired username and password. Make sure you use a good email address, the site will send you a link which you need to click before your account is activated.
Once activated, visit the Claim Your Site page and enter your site URL
You will be shown a row of badges, just choose one by clicking on it and the html you need to insert on your page will be in the text field below. Visit your Typepad dashboard and add it to your sidebar or footer. (see video if you're unsure)
